SCC Payments ("we", "us", "our") takes privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. Our core design principle is to collect as little as possible.
SCC Payments is a self-hosted WordPress plugin. All payment processing happens directly between your customers and your own wallet on the blockchain. We do not process, hold, or have access to any funds at any point.
When you purchase a license or contact us, we may collect:
We do not collect payment card details. Card payments are handled by third-party processors subject to their own privacy policies. Crypto payments go directly to your wallet — we receive no financial data from these transactions.
The SCC Payments plugin runs entirely on your own server. We do not have access to your WooCommerce data, your customers' personal information, or your transaction history. Your customers' data never passes through our systems.
The plugin communicates with public blockchain RPC nodes to confirm transactions. This communication uses only public wallet addresses and transaction hashes — no personal data is transmitted.
License validation requires your site URL to be sent to our license server. No other data is transmitted during this check.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except where required by law or to deliver the service (e.g. payment processors).
License and purchase data is retained for as long as your license is active plus a reasonable period thereafter for accounting and legal compliance purposes. Support correspondence is retained for up to 3 years. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Data is stored on servers located within the European Union or the United States. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS.
The SCC Payments website (sccpayments.com) does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We may use minimal session cookies required for the website to function. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@sccpayments.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active license holders by email. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the current version was last updated.
