These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of SCC Payments software and services ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using SCC Payments, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use SCC Payments on the number of websites permitted by your plan tier:
Your license is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Continued use after expiry requires renewal. License keys may not be shared, resold, or transferred without written permission from SCC Payments.
SCC Payments may be used for any lawful commercial or personal purpose. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the plugin complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to laws governing cryptocurrency, financial services, and e-commerce.
You may not use SCC Payments to facilitate transactions related to illegal goods or services, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or any activity prohibited by applicable law.
SCC Payments is a software tool that facilitates the display of wallet addresses and monitoring of public blockchain data. We do not process payments, hold funds, or act as a payment service provider in any regulated sense. All cryptocurrency transactions occur directly between your customers and your wallet on the respective blockchain network.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible by design. We accept no liability for lost, misdirected, or unconfirmed transactions. It is your responsibility to configure your wallet addresses correctly before going live.
Cryptocurrency values are volatile. We make no representations regarding the value of any cryptocurrency and accept no liability for financial losses arising from price fluctuations.
Active license holders receive software updates and compatibility fixes for the duration of their license period. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility with current versions of WordPress and WooCommerce but cannot guarantee compatibility with all third-party plugins or custom themes.
Support is provided via email. We aim to respond within 24 hours on business days but do not guarantee response times.
We offer a 14-day refund period from the date of purchase for annual licenses, provided the software has not been used in production to process real transactions. To request a refund, contact us at hello@sccpayments.com with your order reference. Refunds are processed within 5 business days.
Refunds are not available after 14 days, for renewals, or where the license has been used to process live transactions.
SCC Payments is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities. You use the software at your own risk.
We strongly recommend testing the plugin in a staging environment before deploying to a live store, and maintaining regular backups of your WordPress installation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCC Payments shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of SCC Payments. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months preceding the claim.
SCC Payments and all associated trademarks, code, documentation, and design elements are our intellectual property. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works from the software without express written permission.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United States.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active license holders by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
